Large open plan family pub in centre of village. Large garden and patio features a stream, ducks and dove-cote. Meals served all day at weekends and in summer. Nowadays tends to cater for diners but drinkers are catered for with seating at the bar and some unlaid tables. The pub is free of tie and sources local beers from Cerne Abbas, Copper St and Dorset Brewery as well as West Country beers such as Butcombe, Otter, Bath Ales and St Austell. Sister pub is Coach House Inn at Winterborne Abbas and occasional transport is provided between the two.
