Traditional thatched free house in unspoiled rolling hills of West Dorset containing a slate bar, flagstone floors and lovely old inglenook fireplaces. Four beers are served, usually one from from Exeter brewery, supplemented by Somerset guests and cider from Isaacs. There is an excellent and extensive menu featuring local produce. The pub holds many differing events such as skittles, live music or themed food nights and is the hub of the local community. Although closed on Mondays in summer, skittles are hosted from Sept to April so in those months the pub opens 6-11pm
