Parts of this old pub date back to 16th century. Recently reverted to a more communal drinking pub with traditional meals rather than purely food led. Monthly quiz (first Sat), steak night Sat, fish night Fri. Beer garden and children’s play area. Stocks the very local Laycock's cider. Beers from South Western breweries. Opening hours quite limited, you are advised to check ahead.
