This Pub is Permanently Closed

Large hotel adjoining the golf club of the same name, whose bar near the main entrance is open to the public and golfers. Fitted throughout with wood-panelled walls and parquet floors, the bar has a golfing theme with local pictures and plaques recording previous captains of the club decorating the walls. The seating is very comfortable and adds to the relaxing atmosphere. Food is available 1200-1330 and 1800-2000 daily. Two ales are usually on offer - albeit at hotel prices! A guest beer appears in the season.
