This Pub is Closed Long Term
This well-kept and welcoming stone-walled country pub on the main Redruth-Helston road has two bars and a fine collection of brassware; the main bar is dominated by an interesting carving of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, whilst the back lounge bar is mainly used as a restaurant in the summer months. The guest beer is ever-changing and usually from another local micro-brewery. Food includes daily home-cooked 'specials', with roast lunch on Sundays; Friday is 'gourmet burger night'. The bus services pass the door; official stops are 330+ metres away towards Helston, but if hailed, buses will stop outside the pub and church if it is safe to do so.
