Charming thatched pub set back from the main road. Inside there is a large wood panelled area with some partitions and a low ceiling. There are normally 2 real ales available with Butcombe Original as the regular beer. The pub is quite food orientated and breakfast is available everyday from 9-11am as well as lunch and evening meals. There are 10 en-suite rooms.

Historic Interest

The building dates from the 17th Century and at one time incorporated a smithy. bought by Wadworth brewery in 1938.
