Attractive Edwardian red brick pub dating from 1902. Fully refurbished in March 2020 this is a local which is involved in numerous activities and home to many and varied teams. Food on Friday, Saturday and Sunday's only at the moment. Four real ales available, including two changing guests.

Historic Interest

The pub is named after a racehorse that raced as a hurdler in the 1920s.
