A smart, comfortable, modern community pub with spacious lounge and bar. Much loved by the community and the only pub in Vicars Cross.

There are usually up to three local ales on with Weetwood, Spitting Feathers and Three Tuns often featuring. There is a 50p discount on cask 3pm-6pm Mon-Fri.

It survived an attempt by Admiral to sell it off as a care home thanks to the fighting spirit of CAMRA and the Centurion Community Action Group (CCAG) who have since acquired the freehold. A rare success story.
