Located next to St Benedict's Church the Mitre Inn was built in 1680 although local legend has it that a tavern has been sited here since the sixth century.
The pub reopened Nov 2024 under new ownership after a lengthy period of closure! A large investment made expanding the interior, creating one large area. It now has a modern feel but with a warm, welcoming ambience.
There is a strong focus on food but not to the detriment of people just wanting to enjoy a drink!
There is accommodation available.
Changing guest beer come local and regional breweries such as Glastonbury Ales, Electric Bear, and Wookey Brewing.
This Pub serves 1 changing beer and 1 regular beer.
