This 16th Century pub features original beams, large open fireplaces and a vaulted ceiling. Some examples of wattle and daub have been retained along with the original ale serving hatch. The pub's walled garden is particularly popular in warmer months. A single bar serves local ales, and food, including gluten-free options, is available throughout the day. There is also a takeaway food menu and the snug restaurant is available for private hire. At their discretion, the pub may close early some evenings.
