Quirky town centre pub with no pub sign except a brass plaque near the door which makes you feel as if you're entering a Solicitor's office rather than a pub. Premises has a strict Over 25s admission policy and a pro CAMRA feel about the place. Large open plan bar area which offers four cask ales and a couple of side rooms for quiet drinking. No smoking allowed in the beer garden or outside areas. Hosts monthly food events for which booking is essential. Closed Monday to Wednesday.
