Description: The front of this former shop gives access to a long and spacious interior with additional seating upstairs. The overall decor of this stylish cafe bar is dominated by wood, while the furniture is a mix of practical dining/drinking tables mixed with a few sofas for extra comfort. The walls resemble an art gallery albeit mixed with a few mirrors. The pictures are quite interesting and varied in size and subject matter, worth taking a few minutes to study before settling down to enjoy a drink or a meal. The daytime trade is a varied clientele mix of adults and families, while in the evenings mainly younger customers enjoy the surroundings. There is some local community focus as evidenced by the Community Book Swap shelves in the front section. The menu offers an appetising selection of dishes with options for children, vegans, and those requiring gluten free food. The drinks range is what you might expect from such an establishment with a range of beers on draught and in bottle, but sadly no real ale (the house keg beer “Cruisers Atlantic Pale Ale” is brewed by Bath Ales). At the front of the premises are some coloured stools for outdoor drinking. Quiz night at 8pm on Friday.
