A converted 17th century farmhouse on the way up to Caerphilly Mountain. It was supposedly once the site of a hanging post used by Judge Jeffries. Meals are served here and the pub is a popular venue for funeral wakes being located virtually opposite the Thornhill Crematorium. The changing beer comes from the Marston's stable.
