Historic Interest

Built about 1805 and listed in Bagshaw's Directory of 1850. It incorporated the Royal Rock Tap / Rock Ferry Tap. Owned by Yates's Castle Brewery, closed in the early 1970s and demolished in 1975. The site is now a pleasant overgrown wooded area.
