This Pub is Closed Long Term

Long, opened-out main bar with a snug-like space to the left and open fireplace to the right of the dark wood bar. The second room, beyond the fireplace, is used mainly for dining which is also possible outdoors on the heated, covered patio. Large garden with children's play equipment.

The Lion & Lamb reopened in mid-October 2024 with new licensees. They now offer Asian and British classic food. Popular for its good value, hearty pub food with a meal & drink deal Monday to Friday. Up to two cask ales, usually well known national or regional brands, plus a selection of well known keg beers.

The Lion & Lamb closed in February 2025 citing a shortage of skillful chefs. New tenants are expected in June.
