May Green is one of two linked boats on the canal in Paddington Basin, directly outside the "back entrance" to Paddington Station, the Circle/Hammersmith & City tube line exit to the canalside. The two boats are described as "floating pieces of art" and were designed by the doyen of British pop art, Sir Peter Blake. The May Green has nine craft beer taps and it is possible just to sit at the inside bar and order; or you can sit on the roof! Its linked sister boat Darcie Green serves all-day food with an Antipodean-inspired menu.
Note that alcohol may not be sold before 10am Monday to Saturday or noon on Sunday.
