The entrance, on the pathway alongside the canal basin, leads into a vast high-ceilinged bar/cafeteria/restaurant with picture windows overlooking the water and moored narrow-boats. For the thousands of office workers in the area, as well as tourists and other passing trade, the establishment's friendly staff offer beverages ranging from a draft unpasteurised Krusovice tank lager, imported fresh from the Czech Republic, to high quality filter coffee together with a variety of Scandinavian-inspired dishes, temptingly displayed in the glass-fronted kitchen. 50s utilitarian furniture on a tiled or bare cement floor contribute to the ambience.

Note that alcohol may not be served before 10am Monday to Saturday or noon on Sunday.
