This Pub is Closed Long Term

Freehold acquired by Sow & Reap Ltd. by Dec. 2017. Future of site uncertain. Reportedly for sale mid-June 2024.

Planning application 2021/01879/FUL | Change of use of the ground floor from public house (Class Sui Generis) into medical and health services (Class E) was withdrawn by the applicant in June 2021. No new planning apps as at mid-June 2024.

Dating from 1892, this back street local sports its orginal Isleworth Brewery exterior tiling and signage. The upstairs rooms of the pub are utilised for backpackers' hostel accommodation (monkeysinthetrees.co.uk) whilst the single-room bar occupies the ground floor. It features an eclectic mix of comfortable leather sofas, tables and chairs and bar stools which, together with a variety of pictures and bric-a-brac decorations, creates a homely atmosphere. On tap are keg Moretti, Guiness, Amstel and a cider.
