Modernly-themed pub with a curved servery, bare flooring and plain glass mirrors on the ground floor. The upstairs bar can be booked for private functions. The present building with its upper ornate stucco (more shades of grey than white) frontage was rebuilt in 1897 and is Grade II listed. The wide food menu includes baguettes and sharing platters as well as burgers, other pub grub favourites and Sunday roasts.
The venue is one of the small Morton-Scott chain.
