A free house at the heart of the local community, comprising a taproom, the main lounge area, a pool room and a side room suitable for functions. Outside is a sunny seating area and a smoking shelter. There is a popular quiz with supper on Wednesdays, occasional live music at weekends, a popular charitable knit and natter night on Mondays and free pub grub Friday teatimes. 229 bus 10 mins walk.
