Former Melbourne house which retains its leaded windows. A traditional, medium-sized locals' pub with an open-plan layout in a U-shape but with three distinct areas. The walls are festooned with sports memorabilia and photographs and brasses are also present. Two hand-pulls are present. Real Ale is available Friday - Sunday, and on request for parties and events during the week. A pool table is present at one end and several TV screens are available to show sports. The pub features regular live rock bands on Saturday evenings throughout the year, and also hosts and supports sports teams. Clientele are mixed but friendly, and this is the last pub in the Bowling area of Bradford. There are no accessibility changes and wheelchair users will struggle with access to the building and toilets without support.
