The Ipswich Journal** reported on May 01 1802: "A good ordinary at The Crown & The Angel - John DYBALL & John COOPER" A report in the Ipswich Journal** on 30 Aug in 1884 states that : Mr TONKIN, at the Angel inn and Mr DEAVES, at the Crown inn, Stoke by Nayland were granted an hour's extension on the occasion of the Flower Show.
