Previous description:

The Grade II Listed building dated from the early 19th century. A large function room named the Crown Suite could be used for any occasion. Disabled access with facilities & baby changing facilities. A large beer garden with a bouncy castle at the weekends. Dogs welcome in the bar & the garden.

Historic Interest

A report in the Ipswich Journal** on 05 Jun in 1839 states that : For sale, the Rose & Crown, Stanton, Further particulars from Mr BOTWRIGHT of Ixworth (No occupier noted)
