This establishment is no longer trading as a public house, it has been recently used as a b&b. It is currently for sale (Dec 2015).

Was a cosy, unspoilt pub with heavily beamed ceilings. Known to date back at least to 1793, when the Bury & Norwich Post reported a meeting of the Glemsford Association at the inn. Photographs of this pub and more historical information about it can be found at suffolk.camra.org.uk/pub/329
