Confirmed in Mar 19 as now a hotel, The House of Toby. There is a small keg bar beyond reception in the side room so assume residents only. The exterior Charrington's insignia has been incorporated into the new facade.
Had been a pleasant conversion of a former Charrington's back street boozer, retaining some old Toby insignia on the tiled exterior. The back room, had old leaded and partially coloured windows. Planning app submitted 30/5/14 - Conversion of public house (Class A4) with ancillary accommodation to bistro (Class A3) at ground and basement floor levels, 2x self-contained flats at ground and first floor levels (Class C3) and 10 room hotel (Class C1), and erection of a three storey rear extension and light well to front.
