NOTE - now a Chinese restaurant. Dec 2024 - Passed last night the 26th Dec with the windows papered from the inside, one claiming that this will become MéEtsui Bar, 'coming soon'

Originally the Swan Tavern, from 1996 a branch of the Babushka chain, changed hands and renamed again in 2005. Had a narrow interior across the front, modern except for fancy plasterwork cornice and ceiling roses. Balcony over the canal, accessed behind the bar to the right. Function rooms on two floors upstairs.

Historic Interest

Mildly, Italiante stock brick with stucco pilasters to front. Two-three storeys. Tall canal elevation in stock brick with piers.
