The Gold Cup Inn is currently run by an enthusiastic group of local volunteers, keeping the lights on and the drinks flowing all whilst a formal Community Pub Group is established. Pop-up meals served on occasions - check Facebook page.

Community Run

Since December 2025, The Gold Cup Inn has been successfully run by the local community on a volunteer basis. In the same month a volunteer Steering Group was formed to guide the transition of the pub into community ownership. The Steering Group are facilitating the transition to a fully registered Community Benefits Society, whereby the pub will be run by the community, for the community. The group has a signed lease with the owners.
