Attractive locals pub, built in 1964 on an old factory site, featuring window troughs and hanging baskets in summer, with a large comfortable public bar and a smart lounge. Outdoor drinking on patio at side (off public bar). Meals available every day to 8pm: Daytime Deals to 5pm, Grill Night Tuesday; Curry Night Friday; children's ("Little Monsters"!) menu. Bingo Tuesday afternoon; quiz night Thursday; occasional disco or live music Saturday evening. Accompanied children welcome to 9pm.
