Historic Interest
It was noted in April 1978 that handpumps were on the bar. It was one of the pubs where Warrington Ale was tried but by April 1980 it had gone and so had the handpumps that had been installed a couple of years previously. In 1982 this was a Tetley Keg pub known as the White Hart. By August 1987 it was known as Carringtons a showbar, other attempts at opening this elsewhere had failed. By August 1989 it was selling Tetley Bitter but this did not last long and had gone by November 1989. By July 1991 the pub was up for sale. It was to become part of the adjacent medical practice. In Spring 1994 it was included on the list of Lost Locals.
