Historic Interest

In 1982 this was a Wilsons pub selling Mild and Bitter (E) and hosted many Camra Bolton branch meetings in the early 1980's and was listed in the Good Beer Guide in 1974, 1983 and 1984. In the 1992 Great North Western Beer Festival Programme it was listed as selling Websters Yorkshire Bitter, Ruddles Bitter and Boddingtons Bitter. On 15/06/83 the Mild was 54p and the Bitter 57p, but by 14/09/83 Mild was 56p and the Bitter 58p
