Historic Interest

In May 1981 this was a Tetley Keg Pub. The pub was not listed in the 1989 Beer in Bolton Guide. However in mid 1989 cask Tetley Bitter was tried, but didn't last long as the bar staff served anyone asking for Bitter the keg variety.
