Historic Interest

Delicensed on 24/11/09 the last landlady Joan Anderson and owner Enterprise Inns. In May 1981 it was a Greenall Whitley Pub selling both Bitter and Mild (E) and was listed in the 1984 Good Beer Guide. It was listed in the selective Greater Manchester Guide in 1985. Jim Hunter the landlord left after 19 years. It was listed in the 1989 Beer in Bolton Guide as selling Greenall Whitley Mild and Bitter by the Electrick handpumps.
