Historic Interest

Probably sold by Punch Taverns mid May 2014 as it was designated by them as a non core pub, landlady was Diane Lee. In 1982 it was a keg Tetley pub, handpumps were installed in late 1986 for Tetley Mild and Bitter. By 1992 it was listed in the Good Beer Guide after it had been sold to Vaux and was selling Whats Doing. Beers were Vaux Samson, Double Maxim and Wards Bitter. In 1995 it was for a short period only selling keg beers but soon Vaux Samson was back on the bar.
