Set back from the high street of the historic town of Bridgnorth, the Stable Bar has plenty of character. Whether enjoying a sit down meal or a casual drink with friends, you can be sure of a warm welcome from the friendly staff. The courtyard is served by an outside bar and there is a warm indoor bar for less clement weather. The food menu is wide ranging using only the very best fresh and seasonal produce to compliment the locally sourced beers and wines.
Historic Interest
Originally The Stable Bar was the stables where the horses from the coaching inn at the front were kept. The carriages were kept in the barrel houses that are adjacent to the property and the stable boys would sleep on the upstairs floor. The property took a turn in occupancy and became a Bar after a refurbishment in 1972, however it was closed in 1981. In 2003 it was purchased by a local business and after a major refurbishment, was re-opened as a bar in 2007.
This Pub serves no changing beers and 4 regular beers.
