Located in a residential area on the edge of Buxton, it reopened on 3rd October 2025 after a major refurbishment. There is one room divided into 3 areas with a snug drinking area to the right and two areas to the left. The bar is to the rear, with three handpumps and a selection of keg beers, wines and spirits.

Homemade food is available everyday with a lunch and evening menu, along with a specials board. Muddy boots and dogs welcome. Good walking and views over the town are available nearby. There is a decked beer garden to the side of the pub.
