This Pub is Permanently Closed

Though describing itself as a country house hotel - it has 12 en-suite rooms, including two four-poster suites - this elegant free house is informal in atmosphere and offers a warm welcome to non-residents. The building dates from the 18th century and is set in mature grounds. Up to five real ales are served, including beers from Bank Top, Black Sheep and George Wright (Pickerings Pride, 4%). Signs from the A6 still have the old name of Pickering Park. There is a heated area outside for smokers.
