Situated in the heart of a busy market town, this one-room pub owned by Castle Rock Brewery was a former Methodist chapel, and has a cottage-style interior and flagstone floor. Up to eight cask ales, 5 craft beers and four ciders are served. Regular Castle Rock collab brews feature an the bar and a wide selection of craft beers are available for takeaway or to drink in.
In 2019 a terrace was added, giving a pleasant outdoor area, which features a huge bright mural. The terrace is mainly open air but covered and heated at one end.
Events include comedy nights and weekly quizzes.
