A busy former coaching inn that has been a public house since 1230. It has several interconnecting rooms and a conservatory providing a quiet area. There is free pool on Tuesday eve, a ukulele band on Wednesday, TV poker on Thursday and live performances by top local bands every Saturday evening. A selection of real bottled beers is available. No food at weekends.
