Attractive, thatched and partly boarded pub on the southern edge of the village. The main bar is to the left of the entrance with a games area behind. A small lounge bar on the right is used mainly for dining, and there is a large garden at the rear. Since reopening the pub in 2013, the current owners have successfully created a popular rural venue for food and drink; young people welcome. Local CAMRA Most Improved Pub 2019. Real cider sometimes.
