This Pub is Closed Long Term
Built in 1720 this very friendly village pub was once used as an Officers mess during the Napoleonic Wars and retains many historic features with numerous oak beams, an inviting inglenook fireplace and traditional decor including its own ghost. Just off the A20 between Ashford and Folkestone, the pub makes a great stop when travelling to and from the Channel Tunnel with a large beer garden, with beautiful countryside views.
