A fine Grade II listed Georgian former coaching inn with an attractive front portico and deep, open-plan interior. On the town's historic main road and close to the famous East Mill and Belper Town FC. Up to 4 constantly changing cask ales (see Real Ale Finder). The pub's car park is accessed through an archway with the garden and a skittle alley to the rear. Accommodation is available and the pub hosts two beer festivals each year, regular live music mainly on Saturdays.
