Handsome traditional Scottish hotel, rated four stars by the Scottish Tourist Board, set in secluded leafy surroundings. Spacious restaurant and grill, lounge and function rooms, all tastefully decorated in traditional Scottish style, featuring wood panelling.

The cocktail bar is a gem, serving one real ale on handpump, usually from the local brewery, but only available in the summer at present, and a very fine range of malt whiskies, all served by very friendly staff.

Change of ownership and no longer selling any ale.
