Centrally located small hotel whose pub is the most frequented by younger clientele, particularly at the weekends. Local bands, karaoke and pub quizzes are periodic features.

The public bar to the front is low-ceilinged and has lots of little corners for separate groups to gather. Adjacent is a separately run restaurant which also does a take-away service.

No real ale currently served.

The Rooney family, the former owners, sold the business to local businessmen early in 2024.
