This Pub is Closed Long Term
Overlooking historic Corgarff Castle, this pub is situated at the beginning of the ascent to the Lecht ski centre on the A939 at Cockbridge, a road infamous as the first to be closed every winter when the snow comes. However, it should still be accessible from the Strathdon side. The two ales are normally only sold from Easter to October, but a supply of varied Cairngorm bottles are stocked. An ideal base for hill walking, golf, pony trekking, clay pigeon, game shooting and mountain biking. As well as the 7 letting rooms, there is a bothy with 6 bunks and you may pitch your tent nearby.
Change of use granted in May 2017 and will be used as an activities centre for independent Kelvinside Academy.
