THE 37TH STOCKPORT BEER & CIDER FESTIVAL Building on last year's success, we intend to continue making our festival, now one of the largest in the Northwest, a 'go-to' event. Don’t miss some MIDSUMMER MERRIMENT www.stockportfestival.org.uk We will be back with over 250 beers, ciders, and perries. With cask dispensed, membrane keg ale, and an international bottle beer bar, we have something for all real ale and cider drinkers. The ever-popular Bar Nouveau will feature at least six beers that have never been commercially brewed before. With indoor facilities and an outdoor tented area, there are plenty of options to relax with friends, enjoy the food options, browse the independent stalls offering art posters (including one featuring this beer festival), jewellery from beer cans, and, naturally, Mr Cheese returns. CAMRA merchandise will be available, as will the popular 'Shut the Box' pub game and a tombola. Visitors who use wheelchairs can safely enter the building using a dedicated entrance. Admission, a drinks token worth £10 and a £4 refundable glass, all for £19. However, significant discounts are available with an Early Doors package at £16.50 for CAMRA members and £17.50 for non-members EARLY DOORS (must book before 1st June 2025) and Advanced Packages can be purchased here – https://tckty.camra.org.uk/e/341/stockport-beer-cider-festival-2025 Music can be an issue at some festivals, but our bands perform in a room separated from the drinking areas. A big shout-out to our festival charity, Reuben’s Retreat, supporting families who have suffered the loss of a child or have a child living with medical complexities. We will use social media leading up to the festival to provide more details on bands, food, beers, and ciders; please bookmark our Facebook and Instagram pages. CAMRA volunteers are urgently needed for this friendly festival, particularly on the setup days (16th-19th June), the trade session, open sessions, and especially on the takedown day (22nd June). Enjoy free staff beer/cider and food during setup, open public sessions and subsidised late-night taxis and accommodation for eligible staff. Free food and drinks await at the post-festival party. A warm welcome and vibrant atmosphere are guaranteed for every volunteer. Sign up here: - https://www.stockportfestival.org.uk/volunteer
