Mansfield and Ashfield Branch Social - Underwood and Bagthorpe

For our June social, we'll be taking the TrantBarton 33 bus to Underwood, where we'll check out pubs in the village, as well as walking down to Bagthorpe.The planned route for the day is:Ginger Giraffe 12:15 - 1pm - then a 0.7 mile/13 min walk to.....Dixies Arms 1:15 - 2:15 - then a 0.4 mile/9 min walk to.....Shepherds Rest 2:30 - 3:15 - then a 0.6 mile/11 min walk to ......Red Lion 3:30 - 4:30 - then a 0.5 mile/10 min walk to either the bus stop (for the 4:43), The Junction or returning to the Ginger Giraffe.The bus, which runs from Mansfield, through Sutton and Kirkby, is scheduled to arrive in Underwood at 12.15. Return buses are at 4.43pm or 5.43pm, depending on how we get on.
