Description

Oakwell is based on the site of the famous Barnsley Brewery. Present owners, RBNB, purchased the land and buildings from Courage in 1994. Brewing ceased in March 1976. the new brewery was established in Courage’s former distribution warehouse in 1997. Current output is 100 barrels per week are supplied to 30 managed community pubs.
