Wear Beer was launched in 2023 in the cellar of the Ship Isis in Sunderland by Julio Romero Johnson, following nine years as project and brewing assistant at Sunderland brewing institution Brewlab. A core range of traditional styles has now become established in the local area for cask, keg and bottled beer. Seasonal and one-off beers are available throughout the year, including a fresh hop lager, English IPA and a Christmas chocolate orange stout.

Wear Beer - Pale Ale
Full-bodied, light golden coloured pale ale, hopped with new English hops Jester and Olicana with Maris Otter. This beer has a slight malty-character from cara malt, balanced with a light bitterness which makes it a great easy drinking session ale.
