Top Rope commenced brewing on a small scale on Merseyside in 2016, and expanded in 2018 moving to Sandycroft industrial estate, Deeside, North Wales. Further expansion led to a return to its current location in Bootle, Liverpool in early 2021 that coincided with the opening of the taproom. Output is mainly keg, but the supply ratio is approximately 45% cask beers (often named on a wrestling theme).
