Mild as a beer style has really taken a hammering since the 1960s and the arrival of kegged lager and bitters. Milds brewed in Wales tend to be ‘dark’ and relatively lightly hopped and Dark Coast is dominated by malt (with a hint of biscuit) rather than the UK hop flavours. At 3.5% it appeals to the mid-week drinker or to someone who fancies a couple of pints at the end of the day. ABV 3.5% Cask
